Add Special Key Points

Parameter Dialog

• Key Point Type: The type of key point to add. The key point type is recorded in the Type field of the Pipeline Key Points layer.
• New Type: Create a custom key point type. Click the Add button to immediately add it to the dropdown list of Key Point Types.

Steps

1. Click the Add Special Key Points button under Extraction.
2. Left-click on the pipeline line. A pipeline key point will be added at the clicked position, with the type specified in the parameter dialog.
3. If the left-click is directly on an existing pipeline key point, the type of the selected key point will be updated to the type specified in the parameter dialog. Note: Only the type is changed; no new key point is added.
