This page lists the workflow, shared preprocessing functions, and all individual function pages used by Pavement Distress Analysis. Basic and Pro modes reference these pages. Function principles, parameters, operation steps, and outputs are maintained on the corresponding function pages.

Workflow

Runs Subsampling, Classify by Deep Learning, Image-based Distress Detection, Sample Units Generator, PCI, and Export Report in order in Basic mode.

Preprocessing

These preprocessing functions belong to the Point Cloud Tools and Classification modules. Pavement Distress Analysis uses Subsampling to reduce processing load and Classify by Deep Learning to separate ground points. See Pro for the standalone Subsampling parameter requirement.

Detection

• Sample Units Generator

Both detection methods create results in the "Distress" layer. Sample Units Generator defines the pavement area included in PCI calculation.

Verification

Use these functions to correct distress results and sample unit boundaries before calculating PCI.

Output functions depend on preceding layers: PCI requires the "istress" and "Sample Unit" layers, while Export Report requires the "Distress" and "PCI Section" layers.
