Meaning

The current application or project state does not allow the operation: process instance conflict.

Common Causes

• A project, task, tool, view, layer, process, or resource is missing, busy, locked, conflicting, or already present.
• A prerequisite operation has not finished.

Resolution Steps

1. Use the complete message to identify the required or conflicting state.
2. Finish or stop the active task through the user interface, open the required project/view, or select an editable resource.
3. Refresh or reopen the project before retrying; do not force-delete locks or terminate unknown processes.
