Profile
Profile In the orthogonal projection top view mode, the profile supports the user to draw a rectangular area arbitrarily and show the side view of the area in the Gaussian window. The Gaussian profile allows the user to view the measurement data at a specific angle, and can be used with editing tools to modify the data only in the profile area.
Profile By Line (1) Select Datum: The user can select any vector line segment in the 3d view. (2) Determine the profile domain: the two endpoints of the line segment are used as the width boundary of the profile region. The length of the profile region is determined by the buffer. (3) Create a coordinate system: The system will automatically generate a right-handed coordinate system for defining the perspective of the profile:
X-axis: coincides with the selected vector line and is oriented to the horizontal direction of the line. Z-axis: aligned to the z-axis (vertical) of the world coordinate system. Y-axis: Determined automatically by the right-hand rule (X-axis × Z-axis), ensuring that the coordinate system is right-handed. This Y-axis direction is the viewing direction of the profile.
