Surface Flatten

Steps

1. Click Surface Flatten to activate the function. The flattening toolbar appears in the Gaussian window.

Button Description:

• Surface Mode: Select only the data closest to the viewport.
• Rectangle: Select a rectangular area.
• Polygon: Select a polygonal area.
• Lasso: Drag to select an irregular area.
• Flatten: Flatten the selected Gaussian data.
• Reverse: Undo up to five previous operations. Operations cannot be undone after saving.
• Save: Save the edits to the current file.
• End Edit: End LOD block editing and return to block selection. This button is not available for non-LOD data.

• Exit: Leave the current function.

• If the current data is divided into LOD blocks, see Delete Splat for instructions on loading block data.

• Select the data to flatten. If no elevation has been set, the minimum elevation of the selected data is entered automatically.

1. Click Flatten to flatten the selected data. While the Gaussian data remains selected, you can enter different values in the input box and press Enter repeatedly to adjust it to the appropriate elevation.

1. Click Save to write the data to the file.

2. Click Exit to leave the function.
