4034 Reconstruction failed
Meaning
A Gaussian, SFM, model, PLY, LiSplat, or other reconstruction process did not complete successfully.
Common Causes
- Input images or point clouds have insufficient coverage, clarity, or overlap.
- Camera parameters or spatial relationships are incorrect.
- An earlier matching, convergence, memory, or output error prevented reconstruction.
Resolution Steps
- Verify image and point-cloud coverage, camera parameters, and spatial alignment.
- Resolve any earlier matching (4028), convergence (4022), GPU-memory (3074), or system-memory (3080) error first.
- Retry with a small, high-quality sample. For Gaussian reconstruction, use the page-level Package Log command and attach the ZIP when contacting support.
When to Contact Technical Support
If the issue remains after these steps, or an internal error is reproducible after one safe retry, record the complete message and follow Contact Technical Support.
