Collision
Status Description
After entering Third-Person Perspective, if the current Gaussian file has a matching collision file, Collision
is selected, indicating that collision detection is enabled. You can switch the collision status as needed:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Selected | Collision detection is enabled, and the character cannot pass through areas with valid collision surfaces |
| Cleared | Collision detection is temporarily disabled, allowing the character to pass through the model. This is equivalent to choosing not to generate a collision file when entering Third-Person Perspective |
Instructions
Low-quality data or noise may produce abnormal collision surfaces that prevent the character from passing through an otherwise accessible area. In this case, clear Collision to temporarily disable collision detection and pass through the area. Select Collision again afterward to restore collision detection.
Note: When collision detection is disabled, the character can pass through the model and may fall when moving into an open area or an area without a valid collision surface. If the fall exceeds a certain distance, the character automatically returns to the initial position.
