Delete Splat

Steps

1. Click Delete Splat to activate the function. The deletion toolbar appears in the Gaussian window.

Button Description:

• Profile: Open the profile window and select data in the profile view.
• Surface Mode: Select only the layer closest to the viewport.
• Rectangle: Select a rectangular area.
• Polygon: Select a polygonal area.
• Lasso: Drag to select an irregular area.
• Invert Select: Reverse the current selection by swapping selected and unselected data.
• Del: Delete the selected Gaussian data.
• Reverse: Undo previous deletions. Up to five deletions can be undone. Deletions cannot be undone after saving.
• Save: Save the deletion operations to the current file.
• End Edit: End editing of the current LOD block and return to block selection. This function is not available for non-LOD data.

• Exit: Leave the current function.

• If the current dataset is LOD tiled data, the LOD block information is displayed. This step does not apply to non-LOD data. Selection and deletion operations can be applied to the blocks.

1. Double-click a block to load its LOD data into the Gaussian window. This step does not apply to non-LOD data.

1. Adjust the view to the data you want to delete.

1. Select the data to delete, then click Delete or press the Del key to delete the data.

1. Click Save to write the changes to the file.

2. Click Exit to leave the function.
