Delete Splat

Function Description:Remove invalid splat points, such as floating noise, manually.

Step

  1. Click Delete Splat activates the function and the delete toolbar appears in the Gaussian window.

Button Description:

  • Surface Mode: Activation will only select the data closest to the viewport.
  • Rectangle: Select a rectangular area.
  • Polygon: Select a polygonal area.
  • Lasso: Drag to select an irregular area.
  • Del:Delete the selected splat data.
  • Restore:Roll back previous deletions up to 5 times, can't roll back after saving.
  • Save: Saves the delete operation to the current file.
  • Save As: Saves the deleted data to another location. If you exit the function, the data will be restored to the last saved state.

  • If the current data is lod split data will pop up the block list, data in 3d view by point cloud display with block range to clarify the data to be edited, click the block list item to display the chunk range. (Non-lod data without this step)

  1. Double-click on the block list item to load the lod data for the selected chunk into the Gaussian window. (No such step for non-lod data)

  1. Adjust the view to the location of the data to be deleted

  1. Select the data to be deleted and clickDel or press the del shortcut key to delete the data.

  1. Click Save write data to file.
  1. Click Exit.
