Split by Attributes

Summary

Vector features are extracted by splitting field parameter values to create feature classes for each unique attribute combination. The tool does not modify the vector feature attributes, all vector features output are in shp format, the file name is named after the attribute field value or a combination of attribute field values, and the number of generated files is equal to the number of different values of the specified attribute field or attribute field combination.

Settings

  • Select File::Enter the vector file from which you need to remove the duplicate vertices. The input file format supports shp and gpkg formats, and the feature types can be points, lines, and surfaces. For gpkg format, the duplicate point operation is performed on all features of each layer in the file.
  • Layer:The dropdown list will display all layers of the clip file. Select the layer name of the clip polygon.
  • Split Fields:This list lists the valid attribute fields for vector layers, either by checking a single attribute field or by checking multiple attribute fields to define a combination of attributes.
  • Output Path: Output file path, and all split vector files will be output to this folder.
