Classify by Mask

Function Overview

Maps the feature classes from a Mask onto the corresponding point cloud.

This function automatically reads the classes of the Mask and assigns the corresponding class to the point cloud within the geographic area represented by the Mask image pixels. The input data must be a classification Mask produced by LiDAR360.

Usage

Click Classify > Classify by Mask

Parameter Settings

  • Input Data:The input file can be a single point cloud data file or a point cloud dataset; the data to be processed must be opened in the LiDAR360 software.
  • Mask:he classification mask.
  • From Class:The class of point cloud participating in the classification.
  • Mask Class:Automatically reads and displays the classes of the mask in this column. Check the box for classes that need to be mapped.
  • Target Class:The target class in the point cloud to which the mask class will be mapped. Defaults to the Unclassified Class. The target class needs to be selected manually.
